I wanted to revisit an earlier conversation, somewhat, find out if there are practical spells that you would teach to non-Dalish mages.

[eolasemah]

Oh. [There's a smile in her voice, albeit perhaps a weary one.] Healing, [she decides,] though nothing too exciting. [A pause, and then a light laugh.] Unless they want to learn gardening.

Gardening is intensely useful. Many people don't know what's edible and what's poisonous aside from what a kitchen puts on plates. And if you've spells you'd share tied into those, I think they could help a lot of people.
